3D Printers at The Smithtown Library

 

Thank you to the Friends of The Smithtown Library for donating 3D Printers to each of our Library buildings.  Patrons can submit requests to have a designed printed.  These requests are reviewed to ensure they comply with the Library's policy, then sent to the requested pick-up location for printing.

Friends of The Smithtown Library Meetings

Although all our meetings are open to the public, the Executive Board Meetings are for the purpose of conducting the business of the governing board and for preparing for the upcoming General Membership Meetings. Our General Membership Meetings are held to conduct business that relates to the membership at-large and to provide an opportunity for people who are interested in the library to establish a closer relationship. Come and visit with us, or join us and become a member.

The Friends of The Smithtown Library sale has hardcover books, DVDs, CD Music for just a $1, paperback and children’s books only .50 cents as well as knickknacks, bric-a-brac, collectibles and other items. Best of all, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Friends of The Smithtown Library Scholarship.

man with cameraLibrary staff may take photographs or video recordings at Library programs for use in publicity. This includes use in our Newsletter, website and social media pages. Please inform us if you do not want photos or videos taken of you or your child.

Recycle Station

The Smithtown Library collects un-needed eyeglasses for recycling through the Suffolk Cooperative Library System's services for the sight-impaired.  glasses
The Library is no longer accepting cell phones for recycling.
