Discover 3D Printing
Have you heard about 3D printing? Want to see what it’s all about? The Smithtown Library will have a traveling exhibit of a 3D printer and 3D scanner. The exhibit will be on display at the Nesconset Branch from March 21 through 27 and the Kings Park Branch from March 28 through April 3.
We will have a formal presentation and live demonstration on Wednesday, March 26th from 4:00 - 4:30pm at the Nesconset Branch.
If a formal presentation isn’t your thing, stop by during our drop-in hours to see the 3D printer in action and as well as some samples. For more information concerning our drop-in hours are, call the Nesconset or Kings Park Branch at (631) 360-2480.

This exhibit will be returning to the Library in September. Check the September newsletter for the dates the exhibit will be on display at our Smithtown Main Building and Commack Branch.

Do you have a pet you want to show off? Bring your pet to the first ever Smithtown Library pet parade! In addition to the parade we will have other activities, including face painting. All participants will receive certificate.
All types of pets are welcome. For safety purposes, children must be accompanied by an adult and pets must be on a leash or in a cage, wagon or other container. We also ask that you clean up after your pets.
Registration begins March 10.
