Officers from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department will be available to photograph and fingerprint children and submit their relevant information to the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (Amber Alert). Parents are issued ID cards to keep for their children. In addition, specially trained Officers will be on hand to inspect your child’s car seat, looking for possible defects and proper installation techniques. No registration required.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Have your favorite stuffed animals ever had their very own sleepover?  Bring your snuggle buddies to the library, create a night light just for them, sign a special permission slip - and give them a kiss goodnight!  Your favorite stuffed animal will spend the night in the library and have a wonderful adventure.  Join us the next morning (Thursday @ 10:30am) to pick up your buddies and see pictures of their fun-filled night.
