Featured Children's Book

LaststoponmarketstreetThis book might be new, but it already says classic!  In Matt De La Pena's book, Last Stop on Market Street, CJ and his grandmother go on a journey by way of a city bus.  While looking around, CJ wonders why they don't have have a car like so-and-so or an iPod like someone else.  With each question, his grandmother encourages him to appreciate the beauty and fun of their routine.  A refreshing read for youth and adults alike.  Christian Robinson's illustrations bring playful diversity to the text and animate this lovely story.  Check it out today!
