Featured Children's Book

stacks image 382If you're unfamiliar with Deborah Underwood's new picture book series featuring the tricky Cat, now is the perfect time to read her latest addition!  In Here Comes the Tooth Fairy Cat, Cat sets out to trick the Tooth Fairy.  The Tooth Fairy, however is not so easily fooled!  Cat must then become to Tooth Fairy to make up for his misbehavior, and is paired with an unlikely counter part.  These books break the fourth wall; the reader interacts directly with characters, which is why it's so easy to endear to Cat, inspite of his shenanigans. 

Logo - 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

All families and caregivers are encouraged to read at least 1000 books with their young children before they enter Kindergarten. Reading to preschool-age children builds vocabulary, language skills, and helps prepare them for Kindergarten. Families can build the skills needed for future success. Ask your children's librarian for more information.
