Mother Goose Rhyme Time
(Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the Library for the youngest of children! Siblings are welcome.

Wonderful Ones

This action-packed program engages little ones in language-based activities; includes free play, stories and fun! Siblings are welcome.

Time for Twos

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories, and a craft. Siblings are welcome.

Pat-a-Cake

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake baker’s man! Join us for a reading of sweet stories and create an art project using puffy paint! Dress to make a mess.

Library Playdate

Seize the play and keep the mess at our place! Join us for an informal play date – meet other children and families, while playing with toys and creating an art project.

Toddlers Explore

Hip Hop Tots

Construction Zone

Little Book Buddies

Book Buddies is a program in which a child (entering grades K-2) is paired with a teen (entering grades 6-12) for a rewarding reading experience! Older children receive community service credit for participation.

Dog-I-Y Blankets

Join us as we make fleece blankets for pets in need! We will learn about pet adoption and shelter dogs. All completed blankets will be donated to the Smithtown Animal Shelter.

World Wide Thumb Wrestling
