Nursery Rhyme Time

(Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby.  A great introduction to the library for the youngest of children!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Wonderful Ones

Monday, July 11 • 11:00-11:45am

(12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities;

includes free play, stories and fun!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Time for Twos

Wednesday, July 20 • 11:00-11:45am

(24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft.  Siblings are welcome.

  

Farm Tales

Tuesday, July 5 • 11:00-11:30am (2 years with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a few farm animal stories and then we will make our own farm.

 

Tiny Tots Storytime

Construction Zone

Put on your hard hats and bring your little construction workers to build with all types of blocks.

 

Red, White and Blue Storytime

Little Critter at the Beach

Come and enjoy stories from different parts of the world.  We will then decorate a sticker scene of animals found on each continent.

 

Genie in a Bottle

We will read some of Aladdin’s tales and make our own genie in a bottle.

 

Science Buddies

Saturday, July 16 • 3:15-4:00pm (8-12 years)

Join this innovative program which pairs teens and children together to work with simple, but awesome projects that explore science, engineering and math. Dress to make a mess.

 

Decorate a Canvas Tote

Saturday, July 23 • 10:00-10:30am (8-12 years)

Use your imagination and creativity to transform a canvas tote bag into a work of art.  Use your tote to carry your books, to bring to school or to the beach.

Art Starts

Different crafts encourage children's hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes storytime. Dress to make a mess!

 

Clifford the Big Red Dog

Wednesday, June 29 • 3:00-3:30pm (3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Join us as we read about our favorite big red dog and make a big red craft.

 

Friendly Frogs

Thursday, June 30 • 11:00-11:30am (3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Hop along with us as we read a few froggy tales then make a friendly frog on a lily pad craft!

 

Butterfly Surprise

Tuesday, June 28 • 3:30-4:00pm (5-9 years)

Come and enjoy listening to a few butterfly stories and then have fun decorating a butterfly with different colored buttons.
