Mother Goose Rhyme Time

Thursday, February 5 • 11:00-11:30am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Saturday, February 21 • 10:30-11:00am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby.  A great introduction to the library for the youngest of children!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Wonderful Ones   

Friday, February 6 and 13 • 11:00-11:45am (12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities;

includes free play, stories and fun!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Time for Twos          

Tuesday, February 10 and 17 • 11:00-11:45am (24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft.  Siblings are welcome.

 

Terrific Threes         

Thursday, February 12 and 19 • 11:00-11:45am (36-47 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy free play, stories, crafts, and circle time.  Siblings are welcome.

 

Vrooming Vehicles   

Friday, February 27 • 3:00-3:30pm (2 years with parent/caregiver)

Let’s read about some of our favorite vehicles and then make a cool sticker scene!

 

Digi-Tots

Monday, February 23 • 3:00-3:30pm (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)       

Join us for a unique storytime you won’t want to miss! We will sing songs, read traditional stories, and introduce you and your little one to digital resources designed to foster early literacy skills. There will be free play at the end, allowing time for questions from caregivers about how to access these digital materials from home.

 

Construction Zone

Saturday, February 28 • 10:00-10:45am (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)

Put on your hard hats and bring your little construction workers to build with all types of blocks.

 

Valentine’s Day Fun

Tuesday, February 10 • 3:00-3:30pm (3-5 year with parent/caregiver)

After we listen to Valentine’s Day stories we will make a special Valentine craft.

 

Playful Penguins                  

Tuesday, February 24 • 3:00-3:30pm (3-5 year with parent/caregiver)

Come and enjoy some favorite stories about our playful friend the penguin.

 

Valentine’s Day Wreath

Winter Wonderland

Let it snow!  We will enjoy a few winter stories and then create a chilly foam craft

 

Lights Out

Enjoy reading about cool science inventions and then make a paper plate light bulb craft.

 

Junior MakerSpace

Monday, February 9 • 4:00-4:45pm (Ages 8-12 years)

Tinker in this one of a kind lab that explores science, simple mechanics, elements of design and other creative projects. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

 

LEGO®   Legends

Saturday, February 14 • 10:30-11:15am (Ages 8-12 years)

Calling all master builders! Bring your imagination to this block party and construct your own creations using   our collection of LEGO® BRICKS!

Shark Time

Do you love sharks? Then you'll enjoy this exciting storytime!  Have fun reading about this favorite creature of the sea and then use your imagination to paint a wooden shark.

 

Kids Create

Saturday, January 24 • 10:30-11:00am (Ages 5-8 years)

Bring your imagination and the library will supply the rest! Let books inspire you to create masterpieces from everyday materials.

 

Snow is Falling         

Saturday, January 31 • 10:30-11:15am (Ages 5-8 years)

Listen to stories about snow and make a special snowflake painting.

 

Scratch Art Dinosaur Ornament    

Thursday, January 15 • 4:00-4:30pm (Ages 8-11 years)

After we read some long ago tales of the dinosaur we will each make a scratch art dinosaur to bring home and hang!
