Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Teen Take and Make - Miniature Art Show

Allowed Grades: 6th Grade to 12th Grade

Event Details

Paint a miniature canvas inspired by this year’s Summer Reading theme “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” Then, bring your painting back to the Library so it can be displayed for the month of August. Online and in person registration is ongoing. Supply bags can be picked up from the building of your choice beginning July 1. When registering online, please indicate pick up building.

Finished paintings must be returned to any building by Friday, July 26 for inclusion in our exhibit.
