Pay My Fines Online?

Fines of $1.00 or more can be paid online with a credit card. It’s quick, easy, and secure.

Here’s how:

1. Go to The Smithtown Library’s home page at www.smithlib.org

2. Select “My Account” from the Toolbar at the top of the page.

3. Enter your library card barcode (leaving no spaces) and your password, and click the “Login” button. If you have not previously created a password, leave this field empty and press “Login”. The page will prompt you to create your own password.

4. The amount of the fine will be indicated on this new page. Click on the link and you will be directed to the payment page.

5. Enter your credit card number (Visa or MasterCard only) and all other information requested on the payment page. After submitting payment, you may wish to print a copy of the page as a receipt.

SuffolkWeb Email Service

SuffolkWeb was implemented in 1996 as an effort to bring Internet access into the homes of library patrons. After nearly 20 years, Suffolk Cooperative Library System will be ending the patron supplied eMail addresses on December 31st, 2015. For more information about retrieving your email from our system, please refer to the website:
This website will have instructions on downloading your messages and, in some instances, how to copy them to your new provider.
The Smithtown Library and Suffolk Cooperative Library System wants to thank you for sticking with this outdated system with its limitations and hope that your transition to a new provider goes smoothly.
