How to Use Your Cell Phone Teen Volunteers
Friday, August 22 • 4:30-5:30pm
Do you need volunteer hours? Do you know how to work your cell phone like a pro? Come help others learn how to use their devices! You'll be paired up with an adult in a one-on-one session to teach them the ins and outs of using either their cell phone or digital camera.Volunteers will earn one hour of community service credit. Register

 

SAT Review Class
Mondays, September 8, 15, 22 & 29 • 6:00-8:30pm
Over 2 million students will be taking the SATs this year; if you’re one of them, how prepared are you? This indispensable 4-week course will be led by long time SAT instructors. Includes a study book. FEE: $88 (non-refundable) per person by cash, check, money order or online with credit card payable to The Smithtown Library. Space is limited. Out-of District Residents may register beginning August 25 space permitting. Register

Preparing for College Workshop
Tuesday, September 30 • 7:00-8:00pm
Join the College Consultants as they discuss tips for writing a college essay/personal statement, what to look for on college tours, financial aid information and interviewing tips and questions. In addition, Fire & Life Safety Educator Michael Breslin from the Commack Fire Department will give a workshop on fire safety tips for young adults and prevention of fires in college dorms.
