Wednesdays, September 10, 17, 24 and October 1• 6-8:30pm
Over 2 million students will be taking the SATs this year; if you’re one of them, how prepared are you? This indispensable 4-week course will be led by  long time SAT instructors. Includes a study book. FEE: $88 (non-refundable) per person by cash, check, money order or online with credit card  payable to The Smithtown Library. Space is limited. Out-of District Residents may register beginning August 25 space permitting!. Register
 
No Bake Twix Caramel Apple Salad
Saturday, September 20 • 3-4pm

Fall Button Tree
Thursday, September 25 • 7-8pm
Take ordinary buttons and design your very own tree. All attendees will also receive a picture frame to display your work of art! Register

All About the College Admissions Process

Join Senior Assistant Director of Admissions from St. Josephs College to discuss the admissions process from applications and the application timeline to what college reps are looking for. She will also touch upon what to what to look for in a college. This program is for both students and parents. Register

DIY Fall Mason Jars

Celebrate fall by decorating your own mason jars.  Whether spooky or sweet they are the perfect way to hold your candy treats! Register
 
Design a Career
Monday, October 20• 6:45-8:00pm
Are you interested in becoming an architect? Two architects will talk about what it’s like to design using state-of-the-art 3D modeling software. They will also present various college and career options not only in architecture, but also in related professions such as construction management, interior design and civil engineering. In addition to using computer software, Architects often sketch their ideas to work out a problem or communicate their design intent. Sketch paper and pencils will be provided during the session for a fun and interactive sketching exercise. Register

Spooktacular Volunteers

Come volunteer at this children's program that is sure to be a big hit. You will help children ages 3-5 with crafts and games. Each participant will earn 2 hours of community service credits and will be provided with a certificateRegister

Design a Calendar Volunteers
Tuesday, November 18• 4:15-5:15pm
Join us for this community service project as we make calendars for residents of a local nursing home. Each participant will earn 1 hour of community service. Register
 
Turkey Dinner Cupcakes
Wednesday, November 19• 6:30-7:30pm
