During the month of December, a Mitten Tree will be set up in each of our library buildings. Patrons who would like to donate new mittens, gloves, scarves and hats are welcome to bring them in to decorate our trees. We are accepting donations for all ages. At the end of the mont

During the month of November, a Veterans Tree will be set up at each Building. Patrons who would like to donate items are welcome to bring them in to decorate our tree. At the end of the month, we will be donating these items to the Long Island State Veterans Home.

A social work intern from the Stony Brook University's School of Social Welfare will be on-site at the Nesconset Building each week on Wednesdays and Fridays during designated hours to answer your questions in a quiet and confidential environment.
The Smithtown Library is pleased to announce we will be partnering with the Suffolk County Office of the Aging to distribute Senior Citizen ID Cards.
