Operation Santa Paws encourages animal lovers to share the gift of giving at shelters everywhere during the month of December.  Join us as we make catnip treats, dog bandanas and fleece blankets for The Smithtown Animal Shelter.

Help younger children craft their own cardboard creations by using kid-safe tools and lots of imagination.

Strum the afternoon away and pair up with our young patrons to help them learn the beginner basics of the ukulele. A brief instructional overview will be given at the start of the program. 

Make bags full of birthday goodies for patrons of our Children's Department to enjoy.

Help feed our furry friends at the Smithtown Animal Shelter.  We will prepare all ingredients for dog treats at the Library and you will take them home to bake.

We are collaborating with The Crayon Initiative to give children in hospitals free crayons to express themselves through art.  Join us as we sort, peel and package crayons for this great cause.
