Join Michael Rodgers as he discusses the history of Belmont Racetrack. The 1 1/2 mile racetrack with its sweeping turns and long homestretch has challenged some of the greatest thoroughbreds of our time. The most celebrated race at Belmont Park is the Belmont Stakes, the final jewel of racing's Triple Crown. Since 1919, when Sir Barton was the first to win the crown has crowned but 11 winners of racing's most prestigious, and elusive, prize.
