Please join Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk for a Fall Prevention educational event. Led by clinicians from the VNS & Hospice of Suffolk Registered Nursing and Physical Therapy teams, this presentation will include discussion and demonstration of proper standing up and sitting techniques, proper use of mobility aids, and moving and engaging in healthy activity safely to help prevent injuries. This presentation will be led by VNS & Hospice of Suffolk's Director of QAPI and Education Kimberly Kanner, EdD, MSN, RN, OCN, NPD-BC; Edie McPartland, RN; and Matthew Keuchler, OTR/L.
