Join Christopher Verga as he discusses the Carrington Estate which is located between Cherry Grove and Fire Island Pines and has been one of the cornerstones of culture and arts of Fire Island. Writers, such as Truman Capote, wrote the book Breakfast at Tiffany’s while gathering inspiration in the surrounding communities. Other guests at the estate include Lincoln Christie, who is the founder of the New York City Ballet. Today the estate is in danger due to the elements of nature.
