The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed for students to learn how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. The course covers high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use of an AED, team dynamics in resuscitation efforts, relief of choking in responsive and unresponsive victims and ventilation techniques, including barrier devices. The course includes hands-on practice and a skills test, and upon successful completion, participants receive a two-year AHA BLS Provider certification. Fee: $75.00 per person, credit card only due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
