World War II history expert Keith Matturro presents a look at the events leading up to the unconditional surrender of the Japanese Empire, including the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the entry of the Soviet Union into the conflict, the formal surrender ceremony and subsequent surrenders throughout Japanese occupied Asia.
