The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Saturday, August 12 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.

Learn about the importance of the world’s rainforests and make your own terrarium using recycled materials. In case of rain, this program will meet in the Community Room.
