Take home a bag filled with the supplies needed to make a whimsical decoration for the Thanksgiving season. A hot glue gun is required for this project. Online and in person registration begins on October 16 and ends on October 30.

Create a gift of gratitude in time for Thanksgiving. Supply bags can be picked up from the building of your choice beginning November 3. When registering online, please indicate pick up building. Kits must be picked up by Friday, November 14.

Join us for our noncompetitive, slow-paced bingo program. This program is geared towards patrons 18 years and older with sensory issues, those on the autism spectrum or those who have other specific needs. 

This evidence-based program for older adults emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. Participants will learn to reduce fall risks at home, set goals for increasing activity and exercise to increase strength and balance.

Read and discuss a non-fiction sports book with our local group. We will be discussing James by Percival Everett. Books are available at the Nesconset Building Circulation Desk. 

Move and groove to the beat. Put on your dancing shoes for an afternoon of music and movement fun. 

Teach younger children how to play chess and checkers. You do not have to be an expert to volunteer but knowledge of the rules is required. 

It’s time for a board meeting; play chess and checkers with our teen volunteers. A great opportunity to learn a new game or practice a favorite.
