Join your friends and neighbors for a film showing.

Join us for a program especially for babies. There will be songs, props and most of all, fun. No older siblings, please.

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Stop by the Library during these hours to celebrate with crafts and activities while you learn all about some influential people. No registration required.

Get ready for a puzzle competition! Break into teams and compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle in celebration of  Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in two and a half hours.

Take home a kit with all of the supplies you need to create a bee inspired sign.  Kits will be available at the Building of your choice beginning June 1 and must be picked up by June 12.  Supplies are available on a first come, first

Introduce your little one to the Library for the first time. Enjoy simple songs, fingerplays and stories, just for baby. Stay and play afterwards and meet your neighbors.

Join us for stories, songs, play and activities designed for little ones.

Read and discuss a non-fiction sports book with our local group. We will be discussing Make Me Commissioner: I Know What's Wrong with Baseball and How to Fix It by Jane Leavy.

If you love trains, then hop aboard and join us for this fun-filled adventure. We will have a short storytime and then we will play with plenty of trains.

Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.

Come to the Children’s Room during these hours to tinker, build and play with a variety of STEAM challenges, toys and projects. No registration required.

Fulfill your passion for art.  Bring your supplies and work on your current project while you share ideas and learn new techniques from others in a relaxed atmosphere.

Teen volunteers are needed to design and make bookmarks for Smithtown Library patrons.

Prepare for this year’s Regents Exams at your Library.  Review materials will be given out at the class.  Registration begins Monday, April 20 for Smithtown Library cardholders.
