The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.

 Join us for our noncompetitive, slow-paced bingo night. This program is geared towards patrons 18 years and older with sensory issues, those on the autism spectrum or those who have other specific needs. 

A representative from Cornell Cooperative Extension will demonstrate healthy drink options with samples. Learn how to avoid the empty calories we can get from sugary drinks and what the healthiest options are that we can drink.

Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.
