Join us in playing some fun games. This program is geared towards patrons 18 years and older with sensory issues, those on the autism spectrum or those who have other specific needs. 

Calling all uke players! Join Miss Jessie to learn beginner basics of the ukulele. No experience needed. Instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Cute, cuddly and colorful – create a painting of your favorite Squishmallow® or design your own. Dress to make a mess.

Dance to get fit with Zumba Instructor Laura Grubert. Zumba is an aerobic workout designed for everyone.

Are you looking for something to do on Saturday? Come to the Library during these hours and complete some cool crafts.

Decorate sea shells to raise awareness for cleaner beaches and oceans here on Long Island.  We will paint shells to be spread across local beaches.  Each teen will earn one hour of community service.

Create a mason jar wooden sign, welcoming our glowing summer friends.

Fulfill your passion for art.  Bring your supplies and work on your current project while you share ideas and learn new techniques from others in a relaxed atmosphere.

Join us this summer and complete project-based coding activities, follow tutorials at all skill levels, learn about inspiring role models in the coding community and become a part of the Girls Who Code Sisterhood.

Travel around the country without leaving the Library. Create a Flat Stanley version of yourself, which will be mailed to a special location and returned to the Library with a story to tell.

Who doesn’t love a great graphic novel? Join Miss Jessie to discuss Sunny Side Up by Jennifer L. Holm while we participate in activities and crafts relating to this fun summer read. Snacks will be provided.

Join us every Friday for the screening of a current or classic movie.

The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.

Teen volunteers are needed to assist with and referee the 8th Annual Smithtown Library Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament. Each teen will earn two hours of community service.

Experience the pure excitement, drama and adrenaline of a sporting event without all of the training, effort and determination! Do you have the attention span to be this year's champion? This tournament will be refereed by teen volunteers.
