Gather your mystery solving gear and help young children find clues that will lead them to a surprise!

Join us for a fun afternoon of painting!  We’ll learn how to paint a starry night scene inspired by Van Gogh's classic painting.

Assist younger children with glow-in-the-dark crafts and activities. 

The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge.

Join us to craft paper succulents and personalize pots with colorful designs and paints.

Let's get felty! Join staff from The Whaling Museum & Education Center of Cold Spring Harbor and use a felting needle to create a colorful turtle pal to take home. 

Teen volunteers are needed to assist with and referee the 9th Annual Smithtown Library Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament. 

Sketch and Stretch offers a unique program that combines art and yoga for teens.  The program begins with yoga for focus and is followed by an art lesson.  Each participant will leave with a completed mini canvas painting.

Think you know pop culture and trivia? Come put your knowledge to the test! Join us for snacks, prizes and little-known facts. 

Experience the pure excitement, drama and adrenaline of a sporting event without all of the training, sweating and determination! Do you have the attention span to be this year's champion? This tournament will be refereed by teen volunteers.

The Smithtown Library proudly announces its annual free outdoor summer concert series made possible by a Suffolk County Omnibus Grant obtained by Legislator Rob Trotta.  Bring your own chair or blanket.
