Week Calendar

Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.

Explore the wonderful world of fiber arts inspired by nature through color, texture, and pattern. Learn how to weave patterns to create a one of a kind piece of art.  We'll set up the loom and let the creativity unfold!

Strum the afternoon away and pair up with our young patrons to help them learn the beginner basics of the ukulele. A brief instructional overview will be given at the start of the program. 

Put on your game face and team up and play our younger patrons in supersized games and the Nintendo Switch™. 

Learn how to sew your own stuffed felt donut, complete with colorful frosting and sprinkles.

Put on your flip flops and get ready for the beach by making the perfect wood sign for the summer days.

Assist our Young Adult and Adult Reference Departments and prepare the materials needed for our seasonal bulletin boards.

Enjoy an evening of music, cupcake decorating and fun summer games.  Each teen will decorate 4 cupcakes.

Join us learn how to infuse your own custom sublimation ink designs onto a pencil pouch using the Cricut Easy Press.

The Smithtown Library proudly announces its annual free outdoor summer concert series made possible by a Suffolk County Omnibus Grant obtained by Legislator Rob Trotta.  Bring your own chair or blanket.
