Holiday Closing

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Library will be closed Sunday, January 18 & Monday, January 19.  We will reopen on Tuesday, January 20 at 9:30am.

Do you enjoy learning about the past through historical non-fiction?  If so, be sure to join The Smithtown Library’s Historical Non-fiction Book Discussion Group.  Mediated by one of our librarians, this discussion group will feature non-fiction titles related to global, national, regional and local history topics.  We will be discussing The Cause: The American Revolution and Its Discontents, 1773-1783 by Joseph J. Ellis. The group will meet quarterly and books will be available at the Nesconset Building Circulation Desk one month prior to the next meeting date.
